Azgarath – Possessed By The Moon

Three years after Echoes from the Past, Azgarath return with possessed by the moon, their first full-length album. Bringing together both newly written material and compositions dating back to the band's earliest years, the record serves as a bridge between past and present, unifying different eras of the band's history into a single, cohesive work.

Rooted in the spirit of the second wave of black metal, possessed by the moon alternates relentless, aggressive passages with sombre melodic interludes and haunting synthesizer textures. While embracing a raw and uncompromising aesthetic, the album reveals a broader sense of dynamics and atmosphere, allowing each composition to unfold with purpose and intensity.

Co-produced by Psalmodist Records and Chaoscibel, possessed by the moon stands as Azgarath's most accomplished and fully realized work to date.
